Life has gotten busy and blogging has been the last thing on my list to do but now I am hoping to keep it in my schedule! So , what has kept me so busy?
This is BUG! On her first birthday! What a cutie she is . Oma (that's me) is a happy camper. The best of both world's as I can have her over for a visit and when I am wore out I can give her back to her mama and daddy.
Been busy trying to sell our house and while we have had lookers no one is making an offer. Good thing we don't HAVE to sell and just want to. And with trying to sell our house it has been fun ( and frustrating) trying to find a place that both the hubs and I like . We currently have it narrowed down to two places. Of course, I want one and he wants the other. Both have good qualities but will see if either of them are available when our house FINALLY sells.
Hubs has been busy watching endless videos on youtube about beekeeping. There are tons of those things to watch. And the amount of funding that is needed to just get those darn hives ready will break us. (Actually, it is just cutting into my creative funds. But, it will stop. Right?)
My life is endless games of soccer and lots of hoping and praying and trusting that God has a plan and that it will all turn out right in the end.
Chat at ya later,

Giving up
Not everything. Just television or cable to be more precise. We have lived for many years without cable and decided to take the plunge a few years back. I had 16 years of Law and Order to catch up on. But 4 years later I am ready to confess that it has taken over our lives. There was a show on every night that needed to be watched. I am ready to take back my life and live it again.
Yesterday I worked on a project that needed doing for quite a while now. A bed that someone had given up needed sanded and painted and so I took the plunge and sanded it, primed it and got a couple of coats of white paint on it. It still needs more paint to get it to the shade that I envision .
Another benefit to this is my children are doing more than being bed vegetables. I have caught them playing chess on most days and I am thrilled.
Benefits. Not for everyone but is good for us.
